Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place for admitting our need, for adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope.

We believe in the power of prayer and trust that God works through our thoughts and concern for others to make a difference in individual lives and in the world around us. Our Prayer Ministry offers a number of opportunities for sharing your concerns and for participating yourself.

Prayer Ministries

In Times of Need

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Pastors are available to pray with you and your family, during hospitalization, before surgery, or during a time of crisis. Please contact the Pastoral Care office at 970-482-2436, ext. 122 with the date, time, and hospital where you will be having your surgery, if you should be hospitalized, or regarding other concerns or crises in your life. You may also submit this information on the prayer request form below. Due to HIPPA regulations, hospitals will not call and inform the church of your hospitalization. Our pastors check the religious affiliation notebook that Poudre Valley Hospital provides several times each week, but we appreciate your calls to let us know should you be in the hospital.
