Welcome Message

Welcome to First Church, Fort Collins! We are a fully inclusive, welcoming, promising church working to faithfully follow Jesus by inspiring hope, growing in our faith, and serving with joy. We offer four, high-quality worship services each Sunday with excellent faith formation opportunities for children, youth, and adults. Additionally, we care deeply about serving those in need and making a positive difference in our shared community.

Please explore our website, join us for Sunday worship, and learn more about who we are and how you might get involved. We endeavor to make the circle of our community wider and wider still. We would love to include you.

If there is anything we might do to help you connect, let us know.

Thank you for your interest in our church, and God Bless You!

Dr. Melanie Rosa, Lead Pastor

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the 3 morning services?

8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11 a.m. Services:
The music in these services is led by our Sanctuary Choir (not 8 a.m.) and accompanied by our magnificent organ. We sing the very best of all musical styles as we share the joy of Christ through music. We sing from the hymnal or the hymnal supplements a few times during the service. Our Director of Children's Ministry, Barb Grauberger, gives the children's message before the kids are excused for Sunday school. Then, one of our clergy preaches a sermon.

All services serve communion on the first Sunday of each month. Everyone is welcome to take communion from the Lord's table.

What do you offer for children and youth?

Children and youth Sunday school classes are available from 9:45–10:45 a.m. Children are dismissed out of the 9:30 a.m. worship service after the children's message, and youth meet in the education wing basement. Nursery care is available for ages 0-5 at all four services, and separate childcare is available for ages 5+ during the 11 a.m. hour. Please visit our Children and Youth pages for more information.

What do I wear?

We hope you come to church in whatever makes you feel comfortable. We care more about you and your relationship with Jesus than what you look like. Our only request is that you do wear clothes :-)

Where do I go when I get there?

Parking is available on every side of the building, but the main parking lots are located by the south entrance. Our Welcome Center is located at the intersection of the two main hallways of our church, next to the entrance to the sanctuary. Please stop by to check-in and get more information!

What happens next?

As you enter one of the services, an usher will hand you a weekly bulletin. Please let an usher know if you have special seating needs such as a wheelchair or hearing aid. There will also be a friendship folder in each pew. Please complete the attendance form inside so we know you stopped by! We hope you enjoy our church community and look forward to seeing you soon!
