First Singers

First Singers is a smaller choral ensemble drawn from the larger Sanctuary Choir. Members of First Singers must also participate in the Sanctuary Choir and are typically advanced singers that learn new music quickly. Many are Choral Scholars at First Church and receive tuition assistance or scholarship money for participating in the Music Ministry of First Church. They sing advanced literature in a variety of musical styles from gospel to standard choral literature in various worship services throughout the year.   This ensemble provided music on a weekly basis throughout the COVID pandemic.  For more information please contact Music Director David Adkins @
